Linda, Eenie, Sini & the Seas
Author: Manager Sini Kunnas, To the Oceans Project – sini@totheoceans.com

It was the innovative President of the Helsinki British and Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Garry Parker, that introduced Sini Kunnas to the remarkable Dr. Linda S. Spedding. Though Finland isn’t a member of the Commonwealth, the connection opened an unexpected door—to a global circle of collaboration and purpose.

Through shared values in environmental protection, health, and security, Sini’s world began to expand in extraordinary ways with many amazing global contacts of prestige and skill.
It was an energizing and effective mix to combine the Scandinavian networks with the Commonwealth arts and environmental thinkers through the British and Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Helsinki, Finland.
As Sini first spoke to Linda Spedding on a video call from Lapland to London, she was amazed how such a strong legal expert of the globe could be at the same time so kind and deeply empathetic.
Linda’s life work is an amazing path of legal expertise and caring for the world.

In 2022, just as the internationally emotional pain of the pandemic began to ease, totheoceans.com. was a startup. Flying less and influencing more online felt like a natural expression of the project’s values and a conscious step toward a smaller carbon footprint.
As an inventor, artist, public speaker, and security adviser, creating an oceans advocacy program felt like coming home for Sini. Working to give a voice to the seas has been one of the most fulfilling choices of her life. In 2025, she decided to devote the rest of her life to communication for the oceans and working as a water subject artist.

It’s no secret that Sini Kunnas works as a channeler, guiding and supporting those in need. In meditation, is received messages from the Source Field—wisdom that flows through nature itself. In Finland, the culture has always held a sacred connection to the natural world. For the Finns, nature is not mystical, but simply home. The forest, the wind, the granite stones, the lakes, the snow and the sea are temples of quiet understanding.
In 2022, something extraordinary began to unfold. Many healers around the world started to sense a deep connection with the oceans. Dreams of vast waters and great beings surfaced—especially visions of humpback whales and other magnificent marine creatures.

These messages carried both beauty and concern. Healers reported that the whales had begun to connect to their dreams and inside meditation moments. It was as if the oceans themselves were speaking through these gentle giants, calling humanity to listen—to care—to remember that the health of the seas is intertwined with our own. As all is simultaneously unseen and seen, so it is possible for a one life form awareness to connect to another.

Then came Linda—an environmentalist, healer, and award-winning advocate with roots across three continents.

She is also the creator of the children’s book and program series Eenie’s World,. A wise little snail named Eenie teaches compassion and care for all living things. The powerful message of “feeling good” helps families across countries with adorable toddlers stories and values lessons influencing. The character of a kind snail meeting others sets emphasis on coexistence with nature through the adventures of Eenie and his companions.

As we journey from one moment to the next, this small creature reminds us of the beauty of slowing down — pausing in silence to nurture health and happiness. Eenie, the snail, a beloved children’s book character, becomes a gentle influencer, sharing messages of non-violence, deep listening, yoga, and the joy of dancing to cheerful music. Through its sweet stories and songs, we learn to open our hearts, replacing judgment with kindness and understanding.
The choice of character is especially interesting — a snail with its hard shell and delicate, vulnerable interior, mirroring how humans often protect their sensitive inner truths beneath layers of defense.

Together, Linda and Sini plan, design, and do. They explore new ways to teach children to love nature, value themselves, and treat others—and the Earth—with respect. Linda’s future work includes developing sustainable toys made by local artisans from recycled materials, transforming waste into wonder. Each handcrafted toy carries a story, and through Eenie, children learn that even the smallest creature can hold the biggest heart.
Linda’s calm presence is a force of its own. She meditates, teaches, and shares messages of peace through her videos and texts. It’s almost hard to believe that this serene woman also has a formidable career in law, spanning from environmental justice to peace building and governance.
And yet, after years marked by global upheaval and pandemic isolation, her focus has returned to the purest of all aspirations—wishing well for the world’s children and the planet they will inherit.

“As for me,” Sini says, “I live and breathe art and oceans. Some call me an ‘ocean influencer,’ though I prefer ‘ocean advocate.’ I’ve watched even the most landlocked souls fall in love with the sea after our conversations. I speak of the oceans’ deep rhythm—the interplay of cold and warm currents, the delicate dance of glaciers, the dark waters reaching toward the light. With Linda by my side, I often whisper a quiet prayer to the waves: ‘Please, remain as you are—majestic, balanced, alive.'”
Both of us hold a profound belief in the five elements of Vedic tradition—Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Ether. These are not mere ancient symbols; they are living forces, present in every heartbeat, every breeze, every tide. When children learn to recognize this unity early in life, they acquire a grounding, a sense of belonging to something vast and true. They need to trust that the future can be good for them‘, Sini sighs.
And so, with deep conviction, Linda and Sini continue to promote Eenie’s World and To the Oceans. When you support this work—through a purchase, partnership, or simple encouragement—you stand beside two freethinkers who believe in action, imagination, and hope for the oceans. the planet, children of the tomorrow and all life across. And the work truly gets done too.
