Seeing the Ocean Differently

As our understanding of the ocean continues to transform,
we are discovering new ways to connect with its living,
unseen and deeply interconnected nature.

To the Oceans Project brings together
young people, ocean enthusiasts, researchers,
marine experts, artists and changemakers from
different fields to explore the
many dimensions of the sea.

The goal is to broaden the way we see and
understand the oceans —
through science, lived experience,
creativity, awareness and connection.

Through online sharing sessions, conversations and
encounters with inspiring guests from around the world,
we explore marine life, ocean culture,
conservation and the
many relations humans have with the seas.

This project collaborates with marine protection initiatives and other organisations, creating bridges between people and projects that share a common purpose:
a healthier, more resilient ocean.

The ocean connects us.
The only way to truly help world oceans,
is to collaborate, unite and cooperate.

Comment and share your insight about how to create a deeper relation to seeing the seas as a key part of life.

Please check our cooperators web pages – they are special people with special knowledge doing work for nature. The project believes that the children and young already have much to share for the seas. The future will be theirs.

We do not just cooperate with the young – we use their advice.

Together is the most effective way to communicate in how to enhance a life-long relationship for seeing the seas as part of us.
